The new bookstacks maps, located next to the call number guide and large floorplan at the bookstacks entrance of each floor.

Navigating Regenstein’s bookstacks in the midst of this year’s reorganization can be challenging. In order to help users find their way during the move, the Library is providing printed maps of the bookstacks which highlight the locations of newly shifted books. The maps are posted at the entrance to the bookstacks on each floor .

Users are encouraged to borrow one of these maps to help locate books in their new locations. In order to reduce paper use, we ask that users return the maps when finished using them.

These maps will be updated daily Monday through Friday, on the same schedule as the call number guides and large format floorplans.

While signage is updated daily, some moves begun later in the day may not be reflected until the next day. As always, for the most up-to-date information about the move, visit lib.uchicago.edu/h/move.
