Eckhart Library reopens Wednesday, January 8

Eckhart Library reopens this Wednesday, January 8.  Our major renovation is complete, and we have a lovely new space for research and study.  The new library space contains all course reserves for mathematics, computer science and statistics classes as well as a core collection of mathematics books.  We also have study tables with total seating for 40 available. The Library’s hours will remain the same as they were last year: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Monographs in the subject areas of computer science and statistics, as well as less frequently used mathematics monographs, have been moved to Crerar Library and permanently integrated into the collections there.  They are presently available in Crerar’s third floor stacks. All journals in mathematics, computer science and statistics are now also available on Crerar’s third floor.
