Mansueto closes at 5 p.m. on September 17 for special event

A special event marking the centennial of the Oriental Institute and taking place during EXPO Chicago will be held in the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library Grand Reading Room on Tuesday, September 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. As a result, Mansueto Library will be closed at 5 p.m. Patrons are welcome to attend the event, but study space and Circulation will be unavailable.

If you have material awaiting pickup in Mansueto during this time, please ask for assistance at Regenstein Circulation.

Special Collections closed July 4th and 5th

The Special Collections Research Center will be closed July 4th and 5th in observance of Independence Day. We will resume regular hours on Monday, July 8th.

Extended All Night Study Hours June 7 – 9

To support students preparing for finals, the Regenstein 1st floor all-night study space will remain open Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 after the building closes at 11 p.m.

The all-night study space will thus be open 24 hours until the end of finals on Friday, June 14.

Special Collections closed for Memorial Day

The Special Collections Research Center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 27th. We will resume our regular hours on Tuesday, May 28th.

Restricted access to the D’Angelo Law Library during reading period and finals

Access to the D’Angelo Law Library for non-law students will be limited from Friday, May 24 through Friday, June 7 during the Law School reading and exam periods. During this period, the library will continue to be accessible to any member of the University community who needs access to legal materials or who would like to work with one of our reference librarians. In addition, all non-law students who are taking Law School classes will have access to the library.

The Special Collections Research Center will be closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

December 26-28, 2018 there will be shortened hours for the public.  The reading room will be open 1-4:45pm.  All requests for materials must be submitted before noon each day.
