Florida (11-398); National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius (11-393); and Florida v. Dept. of H&HS (11-400), Twenty-six states have challenged provisions of the Act, and issues before the court include the “individual mandate,” severability of the challenged provisions, and coercing state compliance by threatening to withhold Medicaid funds.
